Preheat oil to 400°F in electric fryer or 350°F in propane fryer.

Drain oysters.

Cut each bacon strip into thirds.

Wrap each oyster with a piece of bacon.

Secure with a wooden toothpick.

Combine cornmeal and Cajun seasoning(your preferred brand); stir well with a whisk.

Dredge oysters in cornmeal mixture, coating all sides well.

Refrigerate until ready to fry.

Fry a few at a time for 1½ to 2 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

Remove from hot oil and drain on paper towels.
