Pulled pork is a staple in BBQ. It's also a great starting point for anyone learning to BBQ as it can be very forgiving, especially on the AutoIgnite™ Series 545 Digital Charcoal Grill and Smoker. This is the easiest pulled pork you will ever make, and it will be delicious.

Instructions

    Fill your AutoIgnite™ Series 545 Digital Charcoal Grill and Smoker with lump charcoal mixing in some hickory wood chunks.

    Set the Temperature to 275F.

    Season your pork butt heavily on all sides with your favorite rub.

    Let this sit for 20 minutes for the rub to adhere and look "wet".

    Place on the 545 with the fat cap facing up.

    Let this smoke for 8-10hrs until the Internal Temperature hits 200F and is probe tender.

    Pull the pork off and let it rest in an aluminum pan covered with aluminum foil for 2 hours in your oven (not turned on) or a cooler.

    Shred the pulled pork and serve.
