Preheat lightly greased grill to 350°F (medium setting).
Shape ground beef into 8 thin patties. Form patties around each hot dog and seal edges.
Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each hot dog. Secure with toothpicks.
Place on top rack of grill/warming rack and grill. Grill with lid closed, turning frequently, for 20 to 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
The bacon will create flare-ups, so do not leave unattended.
