Instructions

  1. 01

Set your Masterbuilt Gravity Series® to 350°F using Masterbuilt Lump Charcoal. Install a mild wood chunk (like apple or cherry) in the ash bin or on top of the charcoal for extra smoke flavor.

  2. 02

Place bacon strips on the top rack over indirect heat. Close the lid and smoke for 30 minutes, or until crispy. For an extra kick, dust the bacon with your favorite BBQ seasoning before smoking.

  3. 03

Move the sliced tomatoes to the grates over direct heat and grill for 2–3 minutes per side, just enough to soften and caramelize the edges.

  4. 04

Place potato bread slices on the grill and toast for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crispy.

  5. 05

Spread mayo on each slice of toasted bread. On half of the slices, layer bacon, lettuce, grilled tomato, a sprinkle of salt and pepper, then more bacon if you’re feeling bold. Cap each sandwich with the remaining bread slices.
