Heat oil to 375°F in your Butterball® Electric Fryer or Masterbuilt Fryer.
Remove giblets from chicken; rinse with cold water and pat dry.
Inject chicken using 1 ½ ounces of marinade per pound of meat.
Sprinkle Cajun seasoning on the outside and on the inside cavity of the chicken.
Dip the basket down into the oil before placing the chicken in it. This will give it a non-stick coating.
Place chicken in the basket, and slowly lower the chicken into the hot oil.
Deep fry for 3 minutes per lb, plus an additional 5 minutes.
Make sure internal temp reaches 165° F. Remove basket and drain excess oil.
