Enjoy the succulent and flavorful seared tuna steaks seasoned with salt and large granule black pepper, cooked to perfection on the grill!

    Preheat your grill to high heat, around 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Pat the tuna steaks dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.



    • 2 tuna steaks (about 1 inch thick)

    Season both sides of the tuna steaks generously with salt and large granule black pepper. Ensure that the seasoning is evenly distributed.

    Lightly brush the tuna steaks with olive oil to prevent sticking on the grill.

    Carefully place the seasoned tuna steaks onto the preheated grill.

    Grill the tuna steaks for about 1-2 minutes per side, depending on the desired level of doneness. For rare to medium-rare, aim for a slightly pink center

    Avoid overcooking the tuna as it can quickly become dry. Keep a close eye on the steaks and use a meat thermometer if needed.

    Once cooked to your liking, remove the tuna steaks from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving. This helps the juices redistribute for a tender result.
