Preheat smoker to 250F using a mild smoking wood of your preference

Place cheez its in an aluminum pan or in a single layer on a baking sheet

Strain the juice from a jar of pickled jalapenos into a seperate container - lightly cover the cheez its with a drizzle of juice to act as a binder and provide flavor. Go slow at this step, mixing well while adding. You don't want the crackers to get soggy - just moist on top.

Season liberally with ranch seasoning, making sure it's sticking to the cheez its that have the jalapeno juice on them. Place into preheated smoker and allow to cook for about 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, give them a toss / stir and season again with ranch to your taste preference (taste as you go). Place back in smoker and repeat process 2 more times until you've got the smoke / ranch flavor that you like. Make sure crackers aren't burning, but a little browning is ok.

Allow to cool slightly, before serving. Serve warm of cold.
