Fill fryer to the MIN fill line with oil and heat to 375 ˚F.
Mix dry ingredients, add 1/2 cup of water, mix in a large bowl until smooth batter. (Do not add cayenne,)
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- Pinch of Salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1 1/2 cup cornmill
Toss pickles in batter
Fry until golden brown, 1 – 2 minutes.
Remove with slotted spoon, drain on paper towels.
Mix ranch with cayenne for dipping sauce
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 12 ounces Ranch dressing
