Fried Lobster Tail

 

 

Ingredients

Oil for frying
2 cups cornmeal

½ cup all-purpose flour

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp Southern Secrets Kickin’ Cajun Spice

4lbs fresh lobster tails in shell, cleaned and halved


Directions
Preheat oil to 375º F in electric fryer. Combine cornmeal, flour salt, pepper and Southern Secrets Kickin’ Cajun Spice in a sealable bag.  Shake well.  Place one halved lobster tail at a time into bag.  Shake well to completely coat tails. Fry 4 halved lobster tails at a time for 5-7 minutes until lobster turns white and the coating is slightly brown.  Remove from hot oil and drain on paper towels.
