Cajun Fried Chicken
Ingredients
2 ½ - 3 lb fryer
5 ounces Southern Secrets Buttery Creole Marinade
Southern Secrets Kickin Cajun Spice
Preparation
Heat oil to 400 degree in Electric Turkey Fryer. Remove giblets from fryer; rinse with cold water; pat dry. Inject chicken using 1 ½ ounce of marinade per pound of meat. Sprinkle Cajun Shake on the outside and on the inside cavity of the chicken. Place chicken in the basket, and slowly, lower the chicken into the hot oil. Deep fry for 3 minutes per lb plus an additional 5 minutes. Remove basket and drain excess oil.
